Description: Organized retail sector is growing rapidly and consumers are shifting to shopping in organized retail stores. Thus, understanding of shoppers’ behaviour is the key to success for the retailers. Retailers will have to understand the consumers’ shopping behavioural dimensions that will help them to tap the consumer in a better way. Consumer purchase behaviour is an important factor that affects the strategies adopted by the retailers. Shopping habits of Indian customers are changing due to their growing disposable income, relative increase in the younger population, and the change in attitudes towards shopping. The study aims to analyse the factor of buying decision and purchase pattern of retail customer. This has been done by through a questionnaire, which asks the respondents on their spending patterns and factors influencing buying decision.
