The shift toward electric mobility, digital manufacturing, and sustainable practices marks a new phase of transformation. However, challenges such as supply-chain disruptions, regulatory compliance costs, and changing consumer preferences continue to influence growth trajectories. Overall, the findings suggest that India’s automobile industry is transitioning from a cost-competitive assembly hub to a technology-driven innovation center, positioning itself as a global manufacturing and export base for the future.
