Description: eChess is a web-based chess game server which run independently of the client. It can be used to host game servers for multiplayer online game. The aim of the project is to develop a web-based chess game server as a free service to the community. The server will allow users to play a board game over the Internet, and to store and retrieve game sessions at any stage of the game. The system should be usable for players of age 6 and up, and should be able to serve a large number of users simultaneously.
