The main drivers are the growing demand for vehicles and the government's continued investment in infrastructure. MRF Tires is an Indian multinational tire manufacturer and the largest tire manufacturer in India. It is headquartered in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The MRF tire production system has traditionally been very labor intensive. The automation of production processes gradually increased, which significantly reduced the amount of work and caused a change in its composition. In the field of radial technology, the degree of automation has been greater, while cross-layer technology is still labor intensive. The aim of the study is to understand the concept of operations management in the tyre industry and to know how MRF Tire uses it to improve its production.
