Description: Among all employee related problems, employee attrition is one of the key problem in the today’s scenario despite the changes in the external environment. Attrition is said to be gradual reduction in number of employees through resignation, death and retirement. This study helps in knowing why attrition occurs, reasons for employee attrition, challenges faced by managers in retaining employees and also suggest some measures in retaining employees. The researcher has adopted descriptive research studies, the sampling method is convenient sampling because population is infinite and the sample size consists of 50 for this research. The survey conducted BPO employees, has also brought out the attempts made by the organizations towards building up of work environment focusing on employees, their morale, motivation, satisfaction and ability and willingness to be highly productive. This work is carried out through self-administered questionnaires. The primary data has been collected directly from respondent and the secondary data was collected from internet and references from Library. The data is analyzed on the basis of suitable tables by using percentage analysis.
